a little too absent minded
ok anime but was a little too absent minded
with a Buffy the vampire style plot. the anime was also full of some mindless nudity that made this show a little more immature for…
This has often been compared to Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
I know the first instinct is to say animated “gore” is stupid, but it’s pulled of well as in 12 Kingdoms. The first volume episode does have one completely unnecessary scene where Yokho is naked and being seduced by a demon. Not sure why it’s even in there! The rest of the series is normal and enjoyable. So, unless you happen to be a perverted young teenage boy or a desperate man, fast forward!!
Yohko is even a magical girl, she’s just…rougher, so girls should like this.

Its a OVA
This is a OVA so the storyline is not really stable at all. Its a good anime something to pick up if you collect it like me.
A teenage girl name Yohko doesn’t know it yet but, she’s #107 in a long and venerable line of demon hunters! But after her school principal sics a monster on her in the swimming pool and she’s nearly seduced by a possessed classmate, her granddaughter decides it’s time to bring her up in true “Mamono Hunter” style!
Devil hunter Yohko is classic Anime at it’s best! This show may be a bit dated, but it still has sexy girls, engaging plots, and great music. This DVD is absolutely exceptional in every way and I strongly recomend it for any anime fan(provided you can deal with the nudity of course).

This was an alright anime. I wouldn’t say it’s the best one I’ve seen by any means and I haven’t seen that many yet, but I’m working on it.

The story was good, but there was way too much frontal nudity. This film is a high level “R” film (not quite NC-17, but close).

Good anime
Although it’s rated 14 and up, I think they should’ve maybe rated it 16 and up. This was an awesome anime.
