In color illustrations, she is especially adept at using beautiful and delicated coloring to express the femininity of her character. I was particularly taken by HALLOWEEN-CHAN, one of her illustrations appearing on the cover of a magazine. I was gripped by a desire to three-dimensionalize that character in all its delicateness and apply color to it, and that is where the character i created for this volume get its origins.
