Product Description
Nothing can come between Sakuya and Tenchi. First, when Ayeka and Sasami try to hitch-hike to Tokyo, Yugi arranges for them to meet up with an aggressive woman on a motorcycle with an obsession for an impossibly fast jogger. Then, when Tenchi’s friend Amagasaki threatens to break up the pair’s romantic mood with interruptions, Yugi sends a spirit in the form of a professional female wrestler to intervene. Finally though, it is the bumbling nature of Ayeka, Mihoshi, Washu, and even Ryo-ohki that drives Tenchi to protect Sakuya from them when they accidentally destroy half of the culture festival at Tenchi’s High School!

As some artists worked on both Sailor Moon and Wedding Peach, it’s not surprising that these “magical girl” series are very similar. Ditsy junior high student Momoko gets drawn into the struggle between Aphrodite, who strives to preserve love, and the evil Reine Devilla, who tries to destroy it. When she witnesses a battle between Devilla’s servant Pluie and Aphrodite’s lieutenant Limone, Momoko transforms into the Love Angel Wedding Peach. Her best friends Yuri and Hinagiku become Angel Lily and Angel Daisy. Depending on the situation, the trio appear in bridal gowns or armor that resembles a schoolgirl’s sailor suit. When they’re not battling Devilla’s plots, the girls moon over soccer star Kazuya, although Momoko and goalie Yousuke quickly begin a quarreling courtship.
