Uniqua is extroverted and confident–but no one seems to be sure what kind of creature she is! She’s pink with magenta spots, and is clothed with a spotted jumper outfit. It’s sewed on, so the outfit isn’t removable. The “buttons” are sewn pieces of cloth, so you don’t have to worry about parts that could choke little ones.

From a distance, the Ty Backyardigan beanie babies may look like they’re made of rough, itchy fabric–but they are not. The fabric is soft and smooth–somewhat like chenille.

If your child loves the Backyardigans, enjoys fantasy play (like tea parties or role playing), or perhaps needs a friend to keep him/her company at bedtime–Uniqua would make a wonderful present!

My entire family are fans of the backyardigans. My youngest daughter got Uniqua for her 3rd birthday and carries Uniqua everywhere. I gave it a five for imagination because what an imganination for child to make up her own adventures with her Uniqua doll without the influences of electronics and battery opperated stuff. I also gave it a five for durability as well because we did have to throw Uniqua in the washing machine and then laid her out in the sun to dry. She was as good as new. And she smelled good. We plan to collect them all, but for now Uniqua is her favorite backyardigan.
